Every Sunday I notice something disturbing. It’s always been a problem in the Christian community today. Both young people and elderly people are responsible for their behaviour at church. So why do we go church? For me, I go to church because it’s a place to worship God and it has been said in the bible that at the first day of the week, we should worship God. So I chose to obey it.
Since electronics has been introduced into this world, it has everyone talking about how it’s improving by the months or years. Everyone wants to get the latest and updated gadgets. That’s not a problem, but it comes to a problem when you chose to use it during worship time. Mobile phones, iPods, iPhons, iPads, and books are the annoying things people use during worship. I mean if worship is too boring for you, why bother coming? If you’re gonna fall asleep during worship, why turn up? If you can’t be presentable on Sunday, why bother coming? If you’re gonna read a book or be on facebook on your fancy gadgets, why BOTHER COMING?
Like seriously people, would you do this if you were going for an interview? Or even seeing the king of the state? Would you turn up late, dress like you’re going for a slumber party, and while he’s giving a speech up on the stage you slide up your mobile and start texting?
I mean seriously people, the moment you come late, you’re not allowed in let alone dressed up all sleepy-ish. So change your attitude and be a good sample for the future generation and most of all, show respect to the most high that created you and blessed you, God.
