It is 2.30am and I am writing out a blog. Recently I bought a macaroon cook book. The reason being I love eating them. So I thought ‘why not make it’. I started baking at around 11.59pm. As I got together the ingredients, with my hungry tummy I started mixing all the ingredients. Many people have told me how it is so hard to make it and how I would fail if ever I attempted it. So with the support of my cousin angel Shalu, through Skype, I believed I could make it. While it was baking in the oven, I started making the vanilla icing for macaroons. Later then when the macaroons were ready to be taken out and cooled down, I said a silent prayer hoping that it doesn’t break when I flip it upside down. When it was completely cooled down, I flipped it. God answered my prayers and it didn’t crack at all. I was very happy with how it looked like and how it tasted. This is the picture of it and I was indeed a crazy girl to bake this in the midnight and finish at 2am. But it was a payoff for the satisfying hunger I had.
