Tamil Ponnah?

Wat a day at work. Firstly i met my principle, which was weird cause all we ever said was hi and bye..lol. As the store was dead empty, from afar i saw like this 2 indian dudes walking around the store. With them were some elderly people, roughly 5 of them. Now those dudes somewat reminded me of malaysian indian guys, I mean the mat rempit ones. They wore skinny (petak petak) jeans, the number 21 black tshirt (not forgetting the choler up), a man bag, a dslr camera and to top it off half blond dyed Mohawk. i was like..eee gross!!

Then their paati n tata (i assume) was waiting to be served. One of my staff called my name and told me to serve them cause she had to go. So the tata all excited just came to me n said

tata- tamil ponnah??peare asha?tamil ponne thaneh?? *smiling
(are u a tamil girl?? name is asha,so tamil girl rite??)

Me- *smiling and telling myself not to screw up my tamil* ammah uncle
(yes uncle)

Tata- *all so happy wit the paati* tamilah?? Nalathe nalathe, yenthe uure linthe vanthingeh?
(tamilan?? That’s good, which country did you come from?)

Me-*smiling so gay-ly* hehe Malaysia-linthe vantheh uncle *thinking in my head: plz stop talking in tamil uncle*
(hehe I came from Malaysia uncle)

Paathi- Malaysian ponnah, ingeh enna seiringeh ma? Studay ah?
(Malaysian gurl ah, wat are you doing here dear? Study?)

Me- ammah aunty, for study, neengeh Singapore linthe vanthingela??
(yes aunty, for study, did you come from Singapore?)

Paati- ammah ma, came here to send my two grandson to uni ma, Vicknesvaren-ne parre ma. Avveh neengeh teriuma?
(yes dear, came here to send my two grandson to uni, Vicknesvaren is his name, Do you know him??)

Me-* as if I know the whole Adelaide tamil ppl rite* illeh aunty.
(no aunty)

Then she paid the money for the stuff she bought and both the tata and pathi said ‘cheri ma, take care ah’ and they went. Then from afar I could see her telling her grandsons something and they were like walking and looking at me. I was like..OH HELL NO. lucky my awsum manager called me to help her out. So yeah then the whole night was pretty funneh thinking about all of what has happen. Moral of the story, ‘polish up your tamil Asha’. Hope this was entertaining. Adious.
